2! Hiei's Kuwabara's best friend?!

They rushed to the room Kuwabara was in.

"Kuwabara! How do you feel?!" Yusuke asked, concerned.

"Yeah," Kurama said worriedly.

"Hn." Hiei sat by the window, wondering why on earth Kuwabara couldn't just DIE and leave him alone.

"No. Feels kinda funny here…" Kuwabara mutters, drowsily. Then, suddenly awake, he yells, "Who are you? What am I doing here!"

"I think you'd better rest, " Hiei said from a side.

"Hiei…?" Kuwabara whispers. "Yeah, I remember you. You carried me here and konked me out on the way."

Kurama eyed Hiei. "You hit him twice?"

Hiei looked away.

"I'm Yusuke and this is Kurama," Yusuke tells Kuwabara.

Kuwabara looks uneasy. "May I know what happened? I… I can't seem to remember what happened."

Yusuke sighed. "Hiei bashed you up, Kuwabara."

"But… I remember him. He's my best friend. Why would he bash me up?"

"You said he hit you?"

"Well, when I woke up he agreed that I was his best friend."

Yusuke sighed. Kuwabara's brain had not gotten better, in fact, it got worse. "Never mind."

Kurama looked at him, a little worried, then mused secretly to himself that at least Hiei had some compassion. Kuwabara suddenly seemed to be so… innocent. Hiei sat by a side, frowning at the overgrown baby.
