The tale of Lilth to young ladies Listen to your momma, who don't tell you tales Because the woods sure ain't as nice as Prince of Wales there was one of those Faery girls "Lilth" was her name, or so she claimed, As she danced in enchanting swirls Her eyes were of a lovely shade That charmed men alive or dead One day she ventured to the woods To see her brother christened "toot" She lost her way, the night was dark Scared and weary was she When appeared a gallant He. Soon the horror began, you see As he told her he loved her, and she, loved him too deeper than the sea. Days, months, weeks, Their time together was sweet. Yet when she woke, Her prince was gone, A spear he once broke Was all that she found. Her heart was broken, like the spear Her tears flowed, and she began to fear. For beside her was a new lived born She held it to her breast, sad and forlorn. Days passed by and tears grew to hate, For the goodbye which he never bade. Years and years she planned her vengeance It never happened, for he never returned. One sunny day he came Holding the hands of a dame. Rage filled Lilth as she picked up that spear Ramming it through his heart, she hissed, "my dear". The dame screamed and cried and ran, But the Faery girl let her go, for she knew As blood spurted through guy's punctured heart She knew that in herself, there was nothing much. Take heed, my child, one day To the forest if you venture, Attention to Princes you must pay. by hidoko Matsumoto/ v0id http://xz0ne.cjb.net voidmatsumoto@yahoo.co.uk
