Author's notes: Blah blah. Actually I am watching Snowdrop just as I am writing… Yukihiro looked so cute and dorky in the front part of the awakening! Waa! So cute. Actually…. I don't know the lyrics once again. I haven't bothered to look at it either. But it is so nice, and sounds like life awakening… Actually…. It is in the video :P So…. . Besides Pieces, I like it a lot. (mainly because these are the only ones I have seen so far… Ha ha!) I love to swing my head to it. ^0^
Warnings: None
Starring: Hyde, Tetsu, Yukihiro,
Ken, duh~?

Warmth. My heart begins to beat, as I breathe in my first breath. My eyes flutter open, to see my surroundings, a comfortable soft cushioned space. This must be the cradle of my birth, I noted. A life surged up within me.
"The future is waiting for them."
In my mind, in the world of mine, I am already ready. I have never felt as energetic as before… Was there a before? One by one, my friends awake… Tetsu stretched, like a cat. Ken's eyes gleamed, and Yukihiro's eyes opened, like that of one awakening.
Hell, I don't care about the time which existed before I did. I open my mouth, and for the first time, in the cosmic world which exists in my mind, I sing—I know this is what I have been here for. And my friends—they were surely my friends, since they were born with me, for me, just as I was born for them… They began to play their various instruments, those that they were born for.
I had experienced such beauty when I first awoke in this cradle.
My friends and I exchanged thoughts. The future would definitely be ours, I said, I had decided so. Just as they had. The explosion occurs—the explosion that was meant to be, to destroy our creators.
Everything was blasted into pieces, except for us. Oh. I got up, for the first time in my life, and I knew this was meant to be. Ken sat on the machine which we were created in, Yukihiro and I leaned against it. It was snowing hard on us, in this once barren desert which the laboratory were located in. We had changed that. And now we will change the cold environment, because we existed as one with the surroundings. I continued singing, my eyes taking in everything of the whiteness.
The thermometer statistics told me that it was too cold for life to exist. Just as the others, I did not feel cold.
We began walking, Tetsu leading us. He was a beautiful redhead. He had decided it, and we had agreed. We came to a barren clearing with a few rocks. Everything was white, and gray, and we were going to change that. We did not look at each other once—we did not feel the need to. We were connected in heart, since our birth, me and my band mates.
I sang.
It was what I was born for.
It was my future and my existence, just as it was for the others, this ability which existed even before we had left our cradle, this ability we had going on in our minds, and to do it in reality. Inside, I was already restless.
Ken played his guitar, Tetsu played his bass, and Yukihiro beat on his drums. They did not smile—no one smiled—we were born this way. But we enjoyed our music, we enjoyed this song which we dwelled in and which was the pattern of our lives. The beat of life came to us individually, as our various instruments merged from different variations into one.
This was the next beauty that was music. My sole existence, the sky for me to fly in.
Tetsu stole a glance at me, and I saw his eyes penetrating into mine, those sharp humane eyes. There was a sweetness which merged in my heart which seemed so surreal, and I would have smiled, if I could. But suddenly I just understood the way of life. It was the time to change.
The grass was colored, the flowers grew and bloomed, in sync with our music, our existing beings. Light flooded into the once gray surroundings. The animals appeared; there was a deer which appeared, then two. We continued with our music, I continued my singing. A fox, a squirrel, and rabbits, even a raccoon, they emerged from the world we lived in and the music we dwelled in. I felt myself dissolving, living in the blooming world, growing with it.
And my band mates were there with me, growing with me as I grew.
The screen flickered back there. There was no use for the machines which sat back in the cold surroundings anymore. We existed in a world of ours. And our souls continued playing in our minds, even though the monitor failed to track our mental beings.
And for the first time, Tetsu smiled, everyone did… So did I.
This world was new and colored with a bright light.
And this world is our world.
