"Since there are no plants.. .what do they survive on?" Yuki looked up, like 
a small inquisitive cat.

"We have technology. We can produce our own energy and vitamins.. .We get to 
produce sodium chloride by ourselves, and we merge them into pills. All we 
have to do is to take condensed minerals to survive." The tour guide (aka 
officer) explained, and pointed to the oxide trees. "Those, provide no use 
but to provide shade."

"Since you have spacesuits. ..why do you need shade?" Yuki was adament to 
make him seem silly.

"Because of global temperature. If the spacesuits heat up too much, there 
will be extra damage and thus effect our economy."

"Ah," Yuki was silent again. Tetsu smiled to himself, and patted Yuki on the 
back.

"So where are we going now?"

"We're going to the education of the babies since young."

"This must be bad education, you guys don't even master English properly," 
Ken murmured.  Hyde and Tetsu grinned at that, and Yuki burst out laughing. 
The police remained indifferent.

"Language is not important when you're not specializing in it. I specialize 
in killing, in being strong. That's all I need to be in order to contribute 
to the society."

"But.. .to such a society. ..where no one feels anything...?"

"We do feel," the police replied, "But we have learnt not to let it get into 
our way. In this stability, all of us are happy. So why should anyone be 
sad?"

"Because.. .It enriches our lives."

"But it will kill off all of society, affect output, competiveness. 
Individual feelings will be totally be abolished at one point of time or 
another." The police looked at the road, and saw a fat little boy crying. 
"He, will either be brainwashed or die."

"But..." Yuki's eyes were wide.

The police gestured for his followers to catch hold of the kicking screaming 
fat rowdy kid, and injected something into his system. He went limp 
immediately.
