"What shall we do then?" Yukihiro asked, his eyes shining from the sheened tears which still lingered in his eyes.

".. .but, we're supposed to give them a chance..." Ken protested, glancing at the police, who seemed to treat them as lunatics. "You said..."

"They can't exist as this anymore," Tetsu replied sadly,glancing at Hyde once, as if for approval. Hyde remained solemn, and still silent.

"..." Yuki let go of Hyde, nodding.

"I understand," Ken said after a moment, as if he had taken the energy to look into Tetsu's mind.

"Then. ..Please start," Tetsu smiled, as if it hurt him to do even this. Maybe it did, Hyde was not sure. Hyde who usually understood Tetsu better than Yuki or Ken, was not sure. Afterall, it was their job, isnt it?

"...Yes," Ken murmured, and under his breath a light shone. It seemed to radiate from himself solely, although it was in truth under a stronger power.

Yukihiro joined in, his eyes darker than usual, as he too, shone.
Tetsu  stood behind the two of them, putting his arms over their shoulders, almost protectively. Hyde raised his hands, as if gathering all the energy into one.. ..

and soon, this reality was shattered.

The sound of water ran, and the chirping of the birds were clear.

"....This is the end," Hyde said resignedly. "So many lives."

"Wasted lives," Tetsu nodded.

Ken didn't say anything, as he glanced at Yuki, who buried his face into his shoulders, and comforted him.

"...The end."

note: sorry for the crappy ending, but this fic wasn't meant to be 
serious anyway. ..but to tell the truth, even I expected more from myself.. .^^;;;gomen minna. .. m(_ _)m
