I waited till the end of crowds

And now I feel time passing me by

Fleetingly,

I treasure every moment.

When you smile at me,

Or say "Hello",

I know I just can't let go.

When you comfort me--

You always know,

Though I try to act cold.

Somehow, one moment you are smiling,

And the next I see your tears

Time just goes by too fast,

How I wish it will not pass!

But everytime I look

I find a memory

Of you, your smile, your tears

And I know, with you, I have no fear.

I will not be lost in the crowds,

And tears will never run dry

Somehow, I know this is to be

Even when from love I wanted to flee.

Presently, I see

No future, no past

Only you, your laughter, your smile

Breaking the wall in my heart, tile by tile

And now I know

And now I see

Tears have become smiles.
