Epilogue part two

I look at the present which Ken gave me, with tears in my eyes once again. He most probably got it wrapped in the shopping centre, I note. Both of us could never do handicrafts. Carefully, I peel the scotch tapes off the wrapping paper. He had set it by my head and left with our clothes. I'll wager he had went to wash it. He's ever so considerate.

Inside was a square box with a rounded top, which I have seen before in movies. When someone proposes to the character.

With held breath, I carefully lift the cover.

It was what I expected, but I still got a shock. A… diamond wedding ring… A platinum plated diamond ring which lookes so beautiful…

I examine the ring. It has the initials RM on the inside of the ring. RM… Ryu Masters… I'm going to be Ryu Masters if I'm married to him, I muse. I will never get used to it. But it sounds kinda appealing.

Then I stick my lower lip out. What makes him think I will marry him? How overconfident, that bastard.

Then I smile, and tears fill my eyes and flood down my face.

"Baka, KEN MASTERS!"

"Wha…?" The latter immediately rushes in. He looks kind of worried, like I have regretted ever having done that, regretted opening the present, regretted having found him in the first place.

I gesture for him to come closer. He does, and beautiful clear eyes was laden with fear. Fear of rejection. A hand reaches up to where his charm was supposed to be.

"Is this a marridge proposal?"

"Erm… Well…" He looks down, and closes his eyes, arkwardly. "Yes…"

I find myself beginning to smile, but quickly stop it. "Here." I thrust it towards him. He is shocked, disappointment and tears coming into his eyes.

Silence.

"I know." He turns away, and takes the ring, too.

"Where are you going?"

"Huh…?"

"If you want me to marry you then you will have to put this on for me."

"Huh…?" He stands there, dumbfounded.

"Go on." I hold my hand out.

He holds the box out, as if he doesn't know what he is doing. Finally, he breaks out in a smile and takes the ring before putting it on to my finger.

"Thank you…!" He exclaims, for the upteenth time tears in his eyes.

"Thankyou, too…" I whisper, and smile.

THE END!!

Author's notes:

Finally, the two epilogues are finished! (Though REALLY short…) Gomen…

Anyway, if you have anything that you think might interest me, please email me, hear me? Of course, except for mail bombs, chain letters, very vulgar languages and so on… Those concerning about the middle finger shown back and forth and so on.

Okay?
