This Cry For Help

Smiling, eyes tearing,
Sealed mouth screaming
Silent screams.
Her woes unknown and
Her screams unheard.

Crowds pass by, unaffected
While she stands still,
Alone and dejected,
Waiting and praying and
Hoping someone'd be understanding...

Amidst childish affections,
Despite optimistic delusions,
Somewhere out there
Is a person
With a cry for help.
