What can I do but pray
That dear Kelvin would not let me wait so long today
What'd he do but shun my path
Yet his face's in my heart so deeply carved
What would I do to make him mine
To hold his face and sift my fingers through his hair so fine
But, day has come and bathed us with golden light
This song of love can never take flight
Feel my heart shatter to pieces
As daylight softly teases
What can I do, but wait no more
Show that Cupid's arrows are but rotton to the core
Blink back tears in my eyes
And hide my sadness in the silent goodbye.
