Continuation of
The Last Night of Bel Air

by Hidoko Matsumoto

The doll's face did not change
As her prince crawled towards her.
She knew what was sadness,
Yet she could not cry.
She yearned for a response
To calm her shattered prince,
But her attempt was futile.

Her feet began to leave the ground,
As she watched on.
She knew her prince could not be alive.
She saw him dead within.
Mana began to sob,
Her tears falling like a precious gem.
It was those gems that lightened Gackt's life.

She saw Gackt close his eyes,
As he began to pray.

"Boku no negai wo kanaetekureta sora ni yadoru aruji e
(Father who dwells in Heaven who granted my wish)
Saigo no negai wo kanaete..."
(Grant my last wish...)

Mana's tears could not stop.
She knew her prince would be lost.
Light enveloped her,
And she floated into a place of white wings.
She stole one last look at Gackt,
Who found himself lost
Between reality and dreams.

She saw him waking up from an endless nightmare.
It saddened her,
Yet she was unable to move.
She stood high in the clouds,
Like a fairy never to return.

"Wasuretari wa shinai kara..."
(I will never forget...)
