Man, the anime convention was fun. I didn't go as mad hatter, but I wore a kimono-type thing. And I bought a Tarepanda in Yutaka!! Waii! I'm naming it saku-tarechan^^.. And I'm tired. =_=; I Have a pamphlet to complete for my aunt's shop!! *wails*
anyway.. here goes nuffin. But please,stick it to hyde x tetsu.^^; Or tetsu x hyde. *big teary eyes*

"Even if... I'm about to do what I'm going to do to you?" Sakura murmured under his breath, as his hand reached out to grab the redhead, pulling him closer towards himself. The other travelled down that white robe, over those shapely thighs.

Suddenly, the unusually frail-looking being glowed with a white intensity, and Sakura was thrown off balance by its brilliance. He was forced to let go, and stumbled backwards a few steps, his hands scorched.

".....You're protected," Sakura smirked.

"There's nothing to be scared of," Tetsu smiled at him gently, and then took hold of his scalded hand. "...Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine," Sakura pulled his hand away, and looked at it for a moment. ".....So you're really a star after all."

"...Yes, I'm a star," Tetsu's lips remained in that sickeningly beautiful curve.

"....If you fulfil that person's wish...? What'll happen? what good is there for you? A heaven?"

Those eyes were tinted with a sadness as the redhead brought his gaze to meet up with the raven-haired one. "....Death. I'll die."

"So.... Stay with me, tetsu. Don't bother about someone whom you don't even know. Don't care about someone who probably doesn't care about you." Gently this time, Sakura wrapped his arms around Tetsu, holding him tightly. "..Even if we're not supposed to exist as one, we co-exist and we can be in harmony... ..... ."

/say yes, tetsu...say yes, please/

With the warmth of those hands which moved him so much the first time, it caressed him again; as Tetsu rested his hands across Sakura's arm, as his fingers twirled around. He spoke, still with the same warmth that seemed to radiate from him...

"No, Sakura. I'm sorry."

"......You don't even know who he is."

"....I will find him. I must find him... He's in need of me. I can't....Sakura, it's my destiny. I must fulfil my destiny..." Those fingers pried his arms lose, as Tetsu turned again to face him, "..Even if it means death."

".......You're a hopeless workaholic."

Tetsu closed his eyes, for a brief moment. Deep inside.... . Even if he hadn't understood, even if he hadn't really known on the surface, he could hear those cries calling him. Deep inside, he knew it must be somewhere near.... ..

And somehow, these cries seemed so familiar.

Almost as if... He's met that someone before.

"....And I'll find him. I'll save him."

/...I can't desert him, the person whom I'm born for. Not when he's calling me... like this, so desperately......./

With a steady gaze, Tetsu's eyes met his, and his smile twisted into a firm line. "...Even if it means my life."

"...if it was me...?" An expression similar to pain entered Sakura's dark features, and he looked away, to the sea, to the faraway night sky. "If I said I called you?"

"You don't believe in me, Sakura," Tetsu laughed, and took off the jacket, folding it carefully. "And... You're not the one. I know it's near....."

It was Sakura's turn to shiver as Tetsu stuffed the piece of clothing back into his hands. His larger ones clasped around Tetsu's smaller ones tightly, and he knew it wasn't in his right to hold him any longer.

It hurt.

He had to let go.

But no matter how it hurt... he couldn't hurt the Star. He couldn't own the beauty that wasn't his.

It was only right to let the dove return to the sky in search of its home... ..

Tetsu's smile was still so lovely, as were his eyes.

Somewhere deep in Sakura's heart, he had a hunch who had called Tetsu, and he believed that Tetsu knew _somehow_...

It was the cautious kid. That somewhat rude, wild, withdrawn kid, with his dark eyes and hair as black as Sakura's himself... ..

Hyde.

If they were together, then fate must have planned them to be together, which was why Sakura had found them in the first place.

"I'll take you back," Sakura offered, and Tetsu nodded. Sakura draped his arm over Tetsu's frail shoulders, and Tetsu accepted the gesture graciously.

They started on their footsteps back to the house, when a dark figure appeared again.

It was Hyde.

The small frame, with his messed-up hair, with his wide, fearful eyes... He seemed to be a madman.

"Hyde," Tetsu called, but the boy didn't seem to hear him. "Hyde...?"

"I'll take him back," Sakura offered, and he approached the figure, whom, in self defense, lashed out at him. Scratches appeared on Sakura's neck, but it didn't faze him. Instead, he smiled, and grabbed the boy's neck in turn, lifting him up. ".....Sleep, boy."

And before the boy knew it, darkness descended over him like a shroud of night, and he fell. Sakura caught him, and lifted him carefully.

/That voice..../

/I recognize that voice.../

Tetsu's eyes grew wider, as he gasped in realization.

/that voice which has always been calling me for help, why didn't I realize it until now?!!!/

"Hyde... It's Hyde...!"
