Yuki watched Sakura's attempts with Tetsu. He frowned at Sakura's disappointments. Poor Sakura, you are never going to get anywhere like that.
Walking out the door, Yuki walked to the water's edge and stared into the ocean and its angry waves crashing into the beach. He could hear her Siren call. Calling him to back. "Yes mother I will be home soon. I will have what was promised to me. No star will stop me from having Hyde."
Like magic, the waves calmed
down. They reached eagerly to touch him, caress his feet gently.
Smiling down, Yuki felt
alive. "Yes mother I will swin in you."
Shedding his clothes, Yuki ran into the water. Surrounded, Yuki's body began to change. His toes became longer and a fine webby material appeared between them. A second clear eyelide appeard and closed over his eyes, protecting them from the salt and sand. Yuki winced a little when three slits appeared on each side of his neck, his gills, to help him breathe in the water.
Now he swam effortlessly in the water. He glided with the grace and effiency of a fish. He swam and swam, basking in the Ocean's essence. The very essence that gives him life.
He swam deeper into the ocean and was disappointed when he saw the sun about to rise. Effortlessly, he swam back. Sadly, he conveyed to the Ocean, his mother, his disappointment in leaving her embrace.
Stepping out, water making his nude body glistened, Yuki was startled to see Sakura standing there waiting for him.
Sakura? What are you doing here?
Sakura stared at Yuki for a while, thinking. Why do I feel there is something about Yuki that isnt right?
Yuki could see Sakura's thoughts clearly and gave the brunette a lazy smile. Nearing his body, Yuki leaned up and kissed Sakura. Surprised Sakura's eyes widen before they closed in surrender.
Several seconds passed as the kiss became more passionate. Breaking the kiss, Yuki moved his head back while licking some of the saliva off. Dazed, Sakura stared.
Yuki commanded. "You will not remember the kiss Sakura. You will not have doubts about innocent harmless Yuki. Understand?"
Sakura nodded and intoned "I understand."
Yuki nodded. "Good. Now go back to the house and get to bed."
Sakura nodded and walked back to the house.
