Die, Levin, Tetsu and Sakura came into the house with the grocery bags. Die called out for Yuki, but as he reached the fridge he saw a message saying that Yukihiro was going for a swim. He had checked in on Hyde before he left and Hyde was sound asleep.
Die turned and told the others.
Levin went into the bedroom. He was taking Hyde some fresh fruit he had bought for as a sort of peace offering.
Levin dropped the fruit and gasped in horror. He instantly felt that Yukihiro had been in here. He could still feel the furious energy of his cousin. It seemed to choke him. Quickly he went to Hyde and touched his brow. Closing his eyes, he started to get bits of feelings, like faint fingerprints. He knew Yuki had hurt Hyde somehow. Chills ran down his neck as he realized what Yuki had done.
A strangled sob came from Hyde, as he turned fitfully.
In an instant Levin felt himself pushed aside. Tetsu had come in just in time to hear Hyde's painfilled cry. "What did you do to him Levin?"
"I..I..didn't do anything to him. I came to bring him some fruit that is all. He moaned and I thought he had a fever or something."
Tetsu turned back to Hyde. He put his hands on Hyde's face. He could feel Hyde's pain. It rolled over him, nauseating him. He wanted to vomit from what Hyde was feeling. Standing up angrily he turned on Levin. "You lie! I can feel his pain. What did you do to him?"
Levin backed away in fear. He sensed Tetsu's angry energy. It was as strong as Yukihiro's when he was angry. "I didn't do anything!"
"Liar! First you push him off the cliff and say it was an accident. I did not believe you then and I do not believe you now! I sense the evil in you, covering you, coming from you. Tell me, what did you do to him!"
Levin mewled in fear as Tetsu picked him up and pushed him repeatedly against the wall. His head kept banging against the concrete wall. He could feel his anger buidling up. As he was about to use his power against Tetsu, Die stormed in.
"What the hell is going on here?" He shoved Tetsu away from Levin. While Levin slumped to the floor, Die kept pushing an angry Tetsu away from Levin. He slammed Tetsu unto the bed. When Sakura came in, he in turn started to push Die away from Tetsu. Die and Sakura started yelling. Levin started to whimper for.
"Enough!" Tetsu yelled.
Both Die and Sakura stopped bickering. Die turned to Levin. He quickly went and hugged the shivering man. Cradling him in his arms, Die picked Levin up. Turning to Tetsu he issued a threat. "If you ever touch Levin again, I will hurt you and Sakura is not going to stop me." He stormed out with Levin.
Tetsu sat on the bed weary. His anger had left him, leaving a hollow remorse. As Hyde moaned again, Tetsu jumped. "Hyde"
He touched Hyde's face and it seemed to soothe Hyde. He quieted down.
"What is wrong with him Tetsu?"
"I do not know. I came in hear and felt his pain. Levin was near him and I thought he had caused it. Now I am not so sure." He turned to look at Hyde's face. "I fear something terrible has happened to him. I can feel his spirit is in great pain."
Sakura stared down at Tetsu's bent head. He envied Hyde. He wished it was his face, those long soft fingers were touching, comforting.
"I guess we will have to wait until he wakes up so he can tell us. "
Tetsu nodded barely acknowledging
Sakura's words. "Yes."
...
Yukihiro was entering the living room. He was surprised to see Levin in Die's lap. "Why is Levin crying?"
Levin shivered when he heard Yuki's voice. He furrowed deeper into Die's body, seeking safety.
Die hugged him harder. "Tetsu attacked him. He accused Levin of hurting Hyde somehow. How the hell could Levin do anything to Hyde when he was shopping with us. That Tetsu is crazy. If he hurts Levin again, I will make him pay. I will not allow anyone to hurt him." Die said fiercely.
Levin looked up to Yukihiro. Yukihiro looked back at him coldly while smiled evilly after hearing Die's words.
Levin could hear Yuki's thoughts clearly. He knew Yuki would take Die's challenge. Tears formed in his eyes. His mind kept replaying Yukihiro's promise.
You promised me you wouldn't
hurt him Yuki. You promised.
