well here it is... *disappears to do the chem lab that she should have been writing before* ^^;;

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
For the first time in his life, Yukihiro thought he would truly cry. Not the manipulative tears that he used all the time to make sure that things went according to his plans, or even the tears of pain that had sprung from his eyes when he was still just a child in this body and he had fallen and scraped his knee. No, these were true tears, sobs that threatened to escape as he stood staring at Hyde's lifeless body, his pure red blood staining the sheets, his head turned at an awkward angle to where Tetsu had been laying, as if in death he was still watching over his love, to ensure that nothing harmed the one that he had existed all his lifetimes for.
Never before had Yukihiro ever felt more helpless. The entire purpose of his life was to find the One.. to make sure that the Star didn't interfere, and to deliver Hyde to his mother. Alive. If she were to find out that he had failed, that she would have to wait until the cycle began again, when the Star's soul joined Hyde's, when they were given a new life, were forced to find each other again. If his mother were to find out that she had lost yet another lifetime of his due to her own son's stupidity. Yukihiro couldn't even begin to conceive the rage that she would destroy him with. She loved him, that was true. After all, he was of her own making, pain and suffering had gone into his creation, but her love for him was nothing compared with her longing for the One. He knew that. She would destroy him, if it meant that she would have Hyde forever. Destroy him without any remorse.
Seeing Hyde's unmoving body--one of his arms partially outstretched, his fingers curled into his palm, his moist pink lips, not quite closed, forever expelling his last breath--reminded Yukihiro how helpless he was, how no matter what he intended for himself, for Hyde, for his mother, that everything in and instant could go spiraling out of control.
There was only one way to stop it. He would have to bring Hyde, the One, back to life.

Somewhere, deep inside, Sakura knew that Levin had not meant for Hyde to die. He wanted though, with all of his heart, to put the blame on Yukihiro, but he wouldn't let himself. There was a stronger force at work here, one that had overcome even Levin's power, stronger than Yukihiro, and most likely even stronger than Sakura himself. He didn't tell this to Tetsu as the Star had cried in his arms all night, fearing that he had lost his love so soon after finding him again. But Sakura knew. He knew that there was something else at work here, stronger than any of them had expected. This wouldn’t be the end.

With his mother being the sea, naturally Yukihiro derived all of his unnatural strength from the power of water, though he had never attempted something of this scale alone. He couldn't let his mother know. So Instead of calling on the fury of the tempests that raged in the seas, the force of the waves crashing on the shore, the power that had guided him for as long as he could remember, he instead sought out a different form of strength--that of flowers blossoming with the sun’s encouragement, of tiny creatures, blinking their eyes for the first time, that of the love between Hyde and Tetsu. For the first time ever, Yukihiro called on the strength of life.
The searing hot energy that ran through his arms and legs in electric-like waves seemed at first as if it would be too much for him to control, but, unlike the rage he was use to wielding, this energy would obey his wishes. He cocooned Hyde’s body in the healing energy, concentrating especially on the large wound that ran along his pale chest. The knife Levin used hadn’t been cursed or poisoned, so it was simple to bind the skin back to itself. After he was sure that everything was right, he called one last great force directed to Hyde’s mind. His soul, still fearful that Levin had destroyed Tetsu in that last moment as well, was still hovering very close to his body, determined not to leave until he was with Tetsu again. It took no coaxing for him to return to his body once he knew that Tetsu still waited for him. Hyde took one deep breath, coughed and sputtered and Yukihiro knew that he had succeeded. Exhausted, he collapsed against the wall and immediately fell asleep.
