In careful alliance, the four of them stepped across the sand dunes, and surrounded the two bodies. One of them wore white, the other black. It seemed like Lucifer and Gabriel, the perfect contrasts against each other.
"Are we going to help them?" Finally, Die said. His eyes were sparkling as he spoke.
Without a word, Sakura nodded, and he bent down. He picked up the redhead. It was so light, as if it was made of nothing but warmth and feathers. Just touching her... him... it... It felt as if he had grasped a piece of Heaven in his own hands. This warmth was something which hadn't only came from the person, but from somewhere more powerful; it was something that he couldn't explain if he wanted to.
"Heavy..." Die murmured, stabling the raven-haired one in his arms. Sand clung to his own skin, from the earlier ordeal, and this bundle which he was carrying. He looked at Sakura, who gestured that they should move.
"If they're fallen angels, can we keep them?" Levin piped up, looking at Die and Sakura with hopeful eyes. Yukihiro nodded, and said nothing, a big smile of awe on his face.
